Merino Wool
Why give low-impact regional fabrics a chance?
Because we support the Merino Wool Peninsula de Valdes Project, certified ¨Wildlife Friendly.
Because we want to protect regional ecosystems and its native fauna and flora.
Because wool is a natural protein fibre from merino sheep, and is therefore biodegradable, insulating, absorbs moisture and it is very elastic.
Because the quality of the merino wool´s 19 microns, produces yarns with an outstanding texture, equilibrium and optimal resistance.
Because it is beneficial for small local producers, such as the ¨Trelew Woolen Cooperative¨, trade jobs and spinning mills.
Cubreme has been working with this natural fibre since 2010, to develop yarns and fabrics to make all our clothing, demostrating to the world a more responsible outlook on natural resource use.

Hemp
Thanks to the plant's natural resilience, hemp requires few chemicals to grow and thus does not cause allergic reactions on the skin.
A hectare of hemp produces 3 times more clothing than a hectare of cotton.
The use of hemp is very beneficial for health as well as for the environment because of its antimicrobial properties.
The producers of hemp have discovered that it has secondary metabolites, which are chemical compounds often used as a protective measure against bacteria, making it a safe and stable fabric.
With bacteria rates on the rise, it's a good idea to wear fabrics that offer antibacterial and antimicrobial properties to maintain your health.
Hemp is a better way to go. Its seeds contain oils that can be converted into bioethanol and diesel producing an unlimited source of green energy.
Hemp plastics, unlike petroleum, are 100% biodegradable.
Compared to many other materials, hemp becomes softer with each wash.
