Why we use hemp?
Because of its resilience, hemp requires few chemicals for its growth, which doesn’t cause an allergic reaction to our skin.
An hectare of hemp can produce three times more clothing than an hectare of cotton.
As a fabric, hemp is beneficial for health and for the environment because of its antimicrobial properties,
manufacturers discovered that hemp possesses secondary metabolites that regulate and deter bacteria, so the fabric maintains its state and durability.
With the rising rates of bacteria it’s a good idea to use fabrics that can offer antibacterial properties in order to be healthy.
The use of hemp is a wise choice, hemp seeds contain oils that can be transformed into bioethanol and biodiesel which leads to an unlimited source of ecologic energy.
Unlike petroleum, plastics made from hemp are 100% biodegradable
